Relive the magic of the TRIC Christmas Lunch!
TRIC Christmas never fails to disappoint and 2025 was no exception! We sadly said goodbye to outgoing chair Roy Dickens, who did a sterling job building the team and raising the bar.
Dan Walker announced he was continuing for a second year as our President, and raised lots of money during the silent auction, auctioning off two tickets to the Winter Olympics – well done to our worthy winning bid which will help our two charities, Refuge and Bright Young Dreams.
I was formally announced as Chair and I’m really excited about what’s to come in my next two years, I’ve chosen Refuge as my charity for very personal reasons which I shared at the lunch, and the audience gave generously throughout the event which is going to make a huge difference to both charities.
Fleur East blew the roof off with her performance – absolutely incredible, and Lizzie Renehan’s choir energised the audience into singing and dancing along to well known Christmas tunes!
We celebrated 100 years of TV by giving awards to legendary TV shows Coronation Street, Blue Peter, Dr Who, Points of View and Match of the Day, as well the Outstanding Achievement Award to Dame Mary Berry – all very special moments.
We beat our fundraising target for the day – and raised our highest amount ever at a single event – we couldn’t do any of this without our sponsors and partners and guests – every single one of you makes a difference!
See you at the awards on June 23rd 2026!
– Charlotte Graham-Cumming, TRIC Chair
